Back in the right place

Folks, it's baseball season.....get with it

Your Cleveland Indians:

THE TRIBE IS BACK BABY

The Cleveland Indians are currently in 3rd place in the Central Division. They are posting a record of 16-14. They are playing really good baseball right now. Even without star center fielder Michael Bourn, who has just started his rehab in Columbus. He should be back next week for good. Now, for some reason the attendance at Progressive Field has been dismal (only averaging about 15k a game, which is the lowest in the MLB by 3,000) This definitely makes me sad because this Indians team is actually fun to watch. In time I believe the Tribe faithful with continue to more games and care a little bit more. A few quick stats that may change your attitude with them :

Slugging Percentage: 1st in MLB (.470)

Total Runs:                8th in MLB (150)
Batting Average:       3rd in MLB (.271)
On Base Percentage  5th in MLB (.336)

Those are pretty damn good if you ask me! Not to mention that the Tribe is leading the Majors in home runs with 44!!!!! You would have never guessed in a gagillion years the Indians would be hitting such a feat! (no pun intended) Mostly thanks to this guy below

(Indians hitter Mark Reynolds)

Lets hope the Indians keep up the bats and pitching well. They are built to last
the whole 162 and im very excited to see it all play out!

They Play tonight to end a 4 game series with the Oakland Athletics going 2-1 in the last 3 games. Lets hope at 7:05 they get at it once agian Roll Tribe

Your Cleveland Browns:

The Cleveland Browns are soon to start mini camp. The rookie players (and undrafted free agent signings) will be able to report this Friday. This will be the first look the coaches get to see the new rooks in helmets and shorts. Nothing extraordinary will happen Friday, so no recent developments with the Brownies. Oh other than we know Jimmy Haslam is very sorry for his actions with Pilot Flying J and their IRS scandal. Lets hope that will not become another blemish in the already tarnished Cleveland Sports Legacy.

Your Cleveland Cavaliers:

The Cavs are obviously out of the playoffs, so clearly every Cleveland fan is watching and hoping the Miami Heat and LeBron James lose. The Heat are down in their series with the Chicago Bulls 1-0. They are playing again in Miami tonight so lets see how they'll do. Also noteworthy to say the Bulls have been playing without their 2 star players Louel Deng and former MVP Derrick Rose. Little man Nate Robinson has been leading the way along with professional ugly guy Joakim Noah. To say the Bulls go up on  the Heat 2-0 is a great accomplishment would be a true understatement.

Lets go Bulls

Random:

Recently developed on ESPN Radio 850 WKNR, there is going to be a ESPN 30/30 Film on Cleveland's fans. 30/30 Films are documentatries are short films on nothing but great and interestng sports stories. If you haven't seen any of them yet please look them up. (They are all on Netflix) and some stil air on ESPN from time to time. Anyway, the film on Cleveland will be all bout the fans of Cleveland and our nothing but loyalty and commitment to our sports teams. Dispite not seeing a championship since 1964, we still support the Cavs, Indians, and yes the always beloved Browns.
