Can we please just turn the corner?

HAMJAMBO!

Welcome back ladies & gentlemen,

People people people!!!! A lot has went down since we last interacted......but not all of it was good

The Indians did make it to the playoffs only to be to beaten by the Tampa Bay Rays and were eliminated. This was amazing to watch....it really felt like the 90's!!!

The Browns have been IMO one of the most interesting and perplexing stories in the NFL this year...the currently sit at 4-6 and tied for 2nd or last in the division with the Squeelers and Ravens.

The Cavs..........well lets just say they got a long way to go

leggo

Indians

The Indians strike again in the Free Agent market and signed OF David Murphy from the Texas Rangers. The "Murphenator" will absolutely be the starting RF in the Tribe's outfield this year

(David Murphy, new OF for the Cleveland Indians)

BTW in case you missed it Terry Francona won AL Manager of the year!
(but hey then again so did eric wedge that one time)

BROWNS

A certain someone who has been having a pro-bowl year has been Mr. Lockdown himself.....

JOE HADEN

or as I like to call him Yo Haden

(Yo Haden playing tough defense on star receiver AJ Green)

Yo Haden has held each of his opponents to "all time low" stats. Meaning, he is doin' work....he's cookin' up somethin' realllll nice.......he's high stylin', profilin, and limousine ridin.......woooo (only gieri will prob get that last one)

Yes Yo Haden does have the right to say back then they didn't want me, now im hot they all on me!!!

He clearly has had a pro-bowl season thus far. I believe he will only get better from here on out, I mean he did have 2 INT"s last week, one a pick six. Now that's zoned in!

The Browns had an opportunity to take a strong hold on 1st place in the AFC North last Sunday by beating the Bengals. Unfortunatley to my surprise, they got chewed and spit out. Looking like little sisters of the poor on special teams, the Browns allowed the Bengals to score on a block punt (the second blocked punt I might add.) They simply weren't ready for it, which forced me to look ahead to next april's draft.

So of course it's NOV 21st and it's never a early time to look ahead to the Browns draft!!!!  Below are some QB's and other position players I would love to see on the Browns. Go Johhny Football

Now, the Browns will probably be picking between 10-15 in this years draft, not to mention having the Colt's 1st round pick also. Therefore, we should keep in mind 2 of these players will hopefully be picked.

Another side note, this year's NFL draft seems to have many talented players to my eye test thus far, much more than previous years.....Again I know it is still early so I guess well have to wait and see

QB

Jimmy Graoppolo - Eastern Illinois
Not many have heard of this kid,and as of right now I don't know much. Just by looking at his stats and  mechanics you see a prototypical QB. He also has Urban Meyer's blessing, "He is the best QB I have ever  seen". Thats Urban Meyer calling you the best ever......ever? WOW. His lightning quick release is faster than almost anybody's in the draft. Some team will fall in love with him and draft him. If the Browns draft him, it will likely be in the 2nd or 3rd round.
2014 Draft Projection: (3rd or 4th)
Browns' Chances: The Browns will probably have to take a QB in the first 3 rounds, draft day is always crazy  so you never know what can happen. (Browns 3rd round pick)

Johnny Manziel - Texas A&M
I am jumping on the Johnny Football bandwagon right now. I understand his offensive skill set looks like he needs to be placed on a team that runs the West Coast offense. However, I truly believe in Johnny to be almost the second coming of Brett Favre. I know this is a very bold statement, but let me explain. He has had some of the worst defense I have ever seen so called "backing" him this year. All of Texas A&M's success has all been because of Manziel. The way he can create outside of the pocket is amazing. He will absolutely need to stop with all of the turnovers, but I honestly think he is a cant miss product. He is very intelligent and scans the field well, not to mention his unflappable poise back in the pocket. He seems very mature for his age and I do not think he is at all cocky. He is a fierce competitor and will do whatever it takes to win. On top of everything, he is a tough leader, someone I would want leading my team. Lastly, this is definitely the biggest stretch of them all, so unless Lombardi falls in absolute love with him, Johnny will be headed elsewhere.
2014 Draft Projection: (Top 10 Pick)
Browns' Chances: The Browns would probably have to trade up on him, but some teams might  away from him which would drop him to possibly the Browns 1st of two picks (top 10-15)

AJ McCarron - Alabama
AJ along with Mettenberg, is more of a likely canidate than any others IMO on this list. I love the way he goes about his business on and off the field. His character plays a big role in how others view him as a leader. He makes basically all of the throws Alabama has needed him too. Not to mention a couple National Championships, looking to add another one this year. He is consistent which is what you need in a QB. He might seem to some as a "safe pick", but to most he is more than that. He has a high football IQ, and he can run your pro-style offense efficiently and uptempo.At 6-3 he also brings a good tall presence back there in the pocket, something the Browns want. They also should have no problem at trying to pick up AJ in the 1st round.
2014 Draft Projection: (2nd-3rd Round)
Browns' Chances: The Browns could use those picks earlier in the draft to go after other needs on their roster, and save a QB pick for the later rounds such as 2 or 3. This is where the McCarron pick would make sense. (Browns 2nd or 3rd round pick)

Logan Thomas - Virginia Tech
Logan Thomas was supposed to come out of last year's draft, but he struggled heavily and hurt his draft stock immensely. At 6-6 he is the tallest of the QB class, and to be honest has all of the physical tools you want in the QB. He has very sneaky mobility, and moves well in the pocket. He has good arm strength and poise. His knock is his decision making and accuracy. Two aspects of his game he needs to tweak before he becomes an NFL QB. He will likely be a late round pick, unless his workouts really impress, and he continues to have a successful season.
2014 Draft Pick: (4th or 5th)
Browns' Chances: The Browns can take a chance on this kid, however the only situation I can see this happening would be if the Browns love Brian Hoyer. Who knows what is going to happen though. (5th round pick)

Zach Mettenberger - LSU
Mettenberger is the prototypical QB you want running a vertical offense. Which in-fact is exactly what the Browns run. At 6-5 he stands tall in the pocket and can read defense's easier. Not to mention he now has Cam Cameron as the Offensive Coordinator at LSU this season. This has to help his draft stock tremendously. He is also a very tough guy, plays through many injuries. He honestly reminds me of a young Big Ben (not to mention the last names). Which is again weird cause they might be in the market for a QB, and they are also picking ahead of the Browns. Anyway, the Browns would be in position at some point to take this kid in the 1st round if they so choose. He totally fits the profile of what Chud wants, so is the best for the Browns?
2014 Draft Projection: (Mid-Late 1st Round)
Browns' Chances: They could use their 1st of two picks, or again hope he slides to them in  the later rounds. I believe he can slide to them so ill say (late 1st aka Colts pick)

Vince's QB Wish list for the Browns as of November 19th, 2013:

1. Johnny Manziel
2. Zach Mettenberg
3. AJ McCarron
4. Johnny Graoppolo
5. Logan Thomas

(Will Johnny Football be in play for the Browns this upcoming draft?)

Cavs

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been off to a rough start.....here are some quick notes.....

- Kyrie Irving is only averaging 21.8 PPG

- 2013 #1 overall pick Anthony "Tony" Bennett is 5-37 shooting on the season         (Now im no mathematician but im pretty sure that's bad)

- The Cavs are 4-8 on the season

- The Cavs collective "effort" has been in question by everyone watching

- There was a rumor of a physical altercation between players that took place in the Cleveland locker room after a frustrating loss to the Bobcats last week

It is still very early, but the Cavs do not look like they have it together at all. Coach Mike Brown has been in question if he once again can handle a damaged locker room....some say no...I say were 12 games into a 82 game season, lets give him a little more time. Unless we go this route.....

Jabari Parker

(Jabari Parker showing why he should be recognized as the #1 player in the country)
